IAWA Iowa Watershed Coordinator of the Year Award

2023 application can be found here and are due August 15.

Iowa’s watershed coordinators are critical to the future success of improving water quality and meeting the goals of the Iowa Nutrient Reduction Strategy. This award honors the important work watershed coordinators do every day to improve Iowa’s water quality. The Watershed Coordinator of the Year will receive $5,000 for their local watershed program and $1,000 for their own professional development.

Improving Iowa’s water quality takes a village. Many people have to come together to make an impact! The IAWA Impact Award celebrates individuals in the public and private sector who are making a difference for Iowa’s water quality. Two individuals will be honored with the award: one in the public sector and one in the private sector.

Winners to be announced at the 2023 Iowa Water Conference in Altoona Sept. 19-20.
